ABOUT ME
My given name likely speaks to the early love my father had for woodworking. My own passion for the craft grew slowly, starting with tapping maple trees for syrup, and progressing to logging and sawing boards for myself and other hobby woodworkers. I became fascinated by the character that is unique to every board including grain, colour and even smell. Today I am still thrilled to pick up a piece of wood and to imagine the possibilities that lie within. Starting with a vision I know that patience and perseverance may eventually reveal something that is, not only useful, but also beautiful.
