Practitioner in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.

Al Kwan is a registered, licensed, regulared, and fully insured Acupuncture practioner in Ontario under the Regulated Health Professions Act 1991, and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Act, 2006.

Al has many years of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture clinical experience. He has been a member of the Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (CSCMA)  since 1995 and a member of the American Traditional Chinese Medical Traumatology Association since 2011.

Al is following in his father’s footsteps Dr. Tik Wan Kwan to help people gain better health.  Al Kwan is the third generation of his family in his scope of practice.  He wanted to honour his late father and started the Dr. Tik Wan Kwan Wellness Centre in Toronto in order to remember him.  His father was very well known in Toronto for his practice.

Al believes in promoting better lifestyle and simple diet in order to gain greater health and prevention of diseases.

In his spare time Al teaches Tai Chi and Qi Gong in Toronto.
