Taking care of bodywork before winter saves time and money
Now is the ideal time to fix any rust, dings, dents or scratches on your vehicle, before winter gets a chance to make things worse.
Leaving imperfections unattended in the salt season means your vehicle can become more susceptible to extreme rust and corrosion, which can be costly to fix, says Steve Smith, owner of ABC Muskoka.
Addressing damage from minor incidents and from regular wear and tear will keep your vehicle looking good and operating well.
“Salt and wet roads can quickly turn a small rust spot into a serious hole by the spring,” says Steve. “By taking care of the minor issues now, you’ll be saving a huge expense later.”
The off-season is also the ideal time for contractors to get their vehicles looking great again before the busy spring and summer seasons return. Steve says many contractors take this time to fix the little dents and rust spots because they can’t afford to have a vehicle off the road in the summer.
“It’s also a good time for looking after your personal vehicles,” says Steve. “If you’re planning a winter vacation, we can take care of the bodywork while you’re away.”
Located between Bracebridge and Port Carling, the full-service body shop repairs all manners of dents, scratches, rust and more, while also performing auto glass and windshield replacement, painting, headlight polishing, and other customized services.
ABC Muskoka has also expanded their paint booth offerings: they can spray a fresh coat of paint on lawn furniture, kitchen cupboards and more.
“We’ll paint almost anything you want.”
